Amazon partners with The O2 arena to deploy Just Walk Out technology

Partnerships

  • Amazon has partnered with The O2 arena, a multi-purpose indoor arena in London, to deploy a checkout-free store powered by Amazon's Just Walk Out technology.

  • The technology will allow visitors to tap their card or mobile wallet, grab snacks and drinks, and return to their seats without waiting in checkout lines.

  • O2 will join Amazon’s growing lists of UK-based Just-Walk Out customers, including ExCel London, SSE Arena, Telford Hospital, Sussex University, and Gridserve’s EV Station at Gatwick Airport. Amazon plans to offer the technology at more than a dozen third-party UK-based stores by the end of 2024 and all 20 Amazon Fresh stores in the UK.
