Sidekick Health acquires PINK! to expand into oncology and women's health

M&A

  • Digital Therapeutics (DTx) company Sidekick Health has acquired PINK!, a digital health company specializing in cancer support and women's health, for an undisclosed sum.

  • The acquisition will allow Sidekick Health to integrate PINK!'s breast cancer digital therapeutic, PINK! Coach, into its portfolio. This will enable the company to offer a range of digital therapeutics to patients, including further expansion within women's health and oncology in the US and EU. Further, PINK!'s team will join Sidekick Health after the acquisition.

  • Germany-based PINK! developed PINK! Coach as the first and only prescription digital therapeutic for breast cancer. It supports patients with information and daily goals in areas like exercise, diet, and mental health. The aim is to help patients manage side effects and enhance their overall quality of life during treatments.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This marks Sidekick Health’s second acquisition after acquiring aidhere, a German-based company known for its weight management app, "Zanadio," in October 2023 . This step underscores Sidekick's commitment to expanding its digital therapy options and geographical reach.
