cylib raises EUR 55 million in Series A funding to scale technology and operations

Funding

  • cylib, a German battery recycling startup, has raised EUR 55 million (~USD 59.1 million) in a Series A round led by World Fund and Porsche Ventures, with participation from Bosch Ventures, DeepTech & Climate Fonds, NRW.Venture, Vsquared Ventures, Speedinvest, 10x Founders, and other business angels.

  • Cylib will use the newly acquired funds to bolster its proprietary technology to an industrial scale and expand its team of experts for future growth and development.

  • Analyst QuickTake : cylib raised ~USD 8.6 million via a seed extension round in February 2023 , preceded by a ~USD 3.6 million Seed funding round in October 2022 . The latest series A round brings the company’s total funding to ~USD 71.3 million.
