Volta partners with Upstream Security to enhance security of electric fleet

Partnerships

  • Volta Trucks, a Sweden-based developer of fully electric trucks, has partnered with Upstream Security, a provider of cybersecurity and data management platforms, to enhance the safety of Volta's electric truck fleet.

  • Under the partnership, Volta’s fully electric Volta Zero trucks will utilize Upstream’s mobility detection and response platform to monitor and protect its vehicles, telematics, cloud, and connected applications. The technology enables Volta to centrally monitor the performance of its vehicles at an individual and fleet level.

  • Volta’s Amazon Web Services partnership further strengthens the safety features. Volta’s core platform is built on top of the Amazon Web Services IoT-powered fleet management platform, FleetWise, further strengthening the ability to monitor and track vehicle performance.
