Power Knot Ocean partners with Enesel for onboard food waste management solutions

Partnerships

  • Power Knot Ocean, a company providing marine organic waste treatment solutions, has collaborated with global shipping company Enesel to implement biodigesters across Enesel's fleet.

  • Enesel has installed multiple units of Power Knot Ocean's LFC biodigesters on its vessels. These machines, which come in various sizes, digest food waste, reducing the need for waste disposal ashore and minimizing the environmental impact, eliminating mess and odors while delivering operational efficiency.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Power Knot previously deployed 25 biodigesters across Princess Cruises’ ships in March 2024 . The company’s LFC biodigester is available in nine sizes and can handle food waste ranging from 10 kg to 6,000 kg per day.
