XJet, an additive manufacturing solutions provider, has announced the addition of a new 17-4PH stainless steel material to its portfolio of AM material for its NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) technology.
The material reportedly offers high hardness and tensile strength, allowing it to create complex structures for medical devices and surgical instruments, aerospace and defense, oil and gas filtration, and high-precision tooling and manufacturing.
The company claims that the solution reduces the time and labor costs associated with the manufacturing process due to minimal post-processing requirements.
