Axelera AI, a Dutch manufacturer of AI semiconductor chips, raised USD 68 million in a Series B funding round, with participation from Invest-NL Deep Tech Fund, European Innovation Council Fund, Innovation Industries Strategic Partners Fund, Samsung Catalyst Fund, and existing investors.
The fresh funding will be used to expand into new markets and broaden product offerings from Edge to cloud data centers, focusing on GenAI, large language models, and high-performance compute use cases.
