Samsung is reportedly developing a new facial recognition technology called PolarID. The technology uses a punch-hole design on the device instead of facial recognition sensors, which reportedly makes it more compact than Apple's Face ID technology.
The feature will be integrated into Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra or Galaxy S26 Ultra devices, which are expected to launch in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
