Vision Miner, a provider of industrial additive manufacturing solutions, has acquired AddWise, a 3D printer manufacturer, for USD 14 million.
AddWise is an industrial manufacturer specializing in 3D printing machines and related products. The company also provides services for metal fabrication, robotics integration, industrial automation, and electrical and control system design.
The acquisition will enhance Vision Miner's in-house manufacturing capabilities and allow it to expand globally. In addition to this acquisition, the company plans to expand its production line and introduce new machinery for the automation of its other products.
Vision Miner offers high-temperature 3D printing solutions including 3D printing equipment, materials, and services aimed at both industrial and small-scale manufacturing needs. Vision Miner's product portfolio includes nano polymer bed adhesive, a 3D printer (22 IDEX v3) as well as a suite of 3D scanners for reverse engineering and metrology. The company focuses on using advanced thermoplastic materials such as PEEK, PEI, and PPSU for fabricating products across a range of industries such as aerospace, automotive, and medical.
