Solinatra partners with Modiform to develop biodegradable growing pots for sustainable horticulture

Partnerships

  • Solinatra, a biotech company specializing in manufacturing biomaterials, has partnered with Modiform, a manufacturer and supplier of recycled and sustainable products, to reduce the usage of fossil-fuel-based plastics by promoting biodegradable and bio-based growing pots.

  • These bio-based pots are made using Solintara’s eponymous material. They are claimed to be ideal for garden and indoor plants. They can be planted directly into the soil along with the plants. After the cultivation period, the pots are reported to decompose naturally.
