Bear Room, a provider of a digital platform for stress management, has raised an undisclosed sum of funding from DŌBRA, a Lithuanian Impact Venture Studio.
The raised funds will be used to introduce customization features to Bear Room’s platform, allowing users to customize the platform to their individual preferences and needs.
Lithuania-based Bear Room provides an app for guiding users on managing stress via stress relief techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), vocal practices, tapping, and breathing exercises. The app’s exercises can typically be completed within three to five minutes via its interface. As a part of the app’s treatment, it allows users to select comforting objects in a virtual room before beginning stress-relief exercises, an approach the company believes can help provide immediate and personalized sanctuary to users during stressful moments. As of July 2024, the company notes that its app has been downloaded over 10,000 times, with a 31% monthly growth rate and an increase in organic traffic.
