MeliBio collaborates with Neat to introduce new menu item featuring bee-free honey

Partnerships

  • MeliBio, a producer of bee-free honey, has partnered with UK-based plant-based fast food chain Neat to release a new menu dish called the "Hot Honey Sando," made with Mellody Spicy Habanero. The new item is available exclusively at Neat's Nolita in New York.

  • MeliBio's Mellody Spicy Habanero debuted in March 2024 and is reportedly the first vegan hot honey on the food market. Since its launch, the Spicy Habanero has experienced significant growth and is currently available in 150 retail and foodservice locations.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This partnership marks the company's latest foodservice collaboration, following its partnerships with New York-based Eleven Madison Park in May 2022 and San Francisco-based BAIA in July 2022. Moreover, in January 2024 , it partnered with Narayan Foods to introduce bee-free honey in Austria and Switzerland, with plans to later extend to other European countries.
