SPEE3D partners with Russelsmith to offer cold-spray AM solutions West African customers

Partnerships

  • SPEE3D, an Australian additive manufacturing (AM) solutions provider, partnered with Russelsmith, a Nigerian industrial AM solutions provider, to offer its cold-spray AM solutions to customers across the oil and gas, defense, and commercial industries in West Africa.

  • Under the agreement, Russelsmith will become a regional partner and value-added reseller for SPEE3D products in the region. Moreover, Russelsmith has purchased a WarpSPEE3D printer to produce cold-spray metal parts locally.

  • Analyst QuickTake: SPEE3D is the second AM solutions provider to partner with Russelsmith in the past two months, joining 3YOURMIND , which made Russelsmith a regional partner and value-added reseller in May . In contrast to 3YOURMIND, which provided its identification software and digital inventory interface to enable Russelsmith to develop new AM applications for local clients, SPEE3D’s WarpSPEE3D printer will enable the company to address supply chain issues by manufacturing metal parts locally.
