Lilium, a Nasdaq-listed eVTOL jet developer, announced the next phase of its POWER-ON Aftermarket Services portfolio. The company will supply digital solutions to ensure Lilium Jet's efficient operations. Partners for components of the service suite include Microsoft Azure, Amadeus, and GE Aerospace.
The POWER-ON suite comprises flight planning, aircraft performance ground, and Electronic Flight bag solutions. It also includes a customer portal providing access to technical publications, health monitoring, and other operations and safety solutions for its customer base. The suite will also integrate AI functions for efficient processes. These digital systems would assist the Lilium Jet's planned entry into service by 2026.
Analyst QuickTake: Lilium began developing the POWER-ON two years ago, followed by its launch in February 2024 . Lilium has also recently been expanding its operations and distributions of eVTOL with its recent order from Saudia Group , the conclusion of its tests for its electric jet propulsion unit at maximum thrust, and partnerships with the Bao'an District for the establishment of its regional headquarters in China and eVolare to sell and operate electric jets in the UK.
