Papacks and Wandarra partners to develop sustainable hemp-based packaging in Asia-Pacific region

Partnerships

  • Papacks, a Germany-based sustainable packaging company, has partnered with Australian AgTech company Wandarra to reduce plastic waste in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region by utilizing hemp for packaging.

  • The partnership will capitalize on Wandarra's local hemp supply and Papacks' production technologies to create functional, biodegradable packaging intended as an alternative to single-use plastics. The partners are moving toward formalizing their licensing agreement for the region and intend to initially focus their efforts on single-use plastics in the fresh produce sector in Australia.
