Ubirider, a Portugal-based mobility-as-a-service platform (MaaS), partnered with MobiAzores bus service to implement its digital MaaS platform on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal.
The partnership allows MobiAzores users to pay for bus rides using contactless bank cards, smartphones, or smartwatches, eliminating the need for physical tickets and making Terceira the first Portuguese island to adopt such a system.
UbiRider’s platform also provides real-time insights into passenger trends, enabling MobiAzores to optimize services based on data-driven decisions.
