Trivver partners with Niantic 8th Wall to enhance AR advertising with data analytics

  • Trivver, an AR and AI tech company, partnered with Niantic 8th Wall, a WebAR platform, to combine 3D data analytics with WebAR tools for improved AR advertising.

  • The partnership aims to create AR advertising and brand experiences with precise measurement. Trivver's 3D Smart Object technology will be integrated into Niantic 8th Wall projects, allowing real-time capture of visibility and attention metrics in spatial computing scenarios. This collaboration aligns with new IAB/MRC AR measurement guidelines and offers advertisers insights into user interactions in 3D space.

  • The partnership also provides developers and brands with templatized AR shopping portals and virtual stores, reducing time and cost for AR ad deployment. This integration is expected to enhance user engagement and drive higher conversion rates in AR advertising campaigns.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Niantic has been focused on improving its developer-focused XR tools. This news follows the launch of Niantic Studio in June 2024 , a visual interface for creating 3D and mixed reality games and experiences. Additionally, in April 2024 , the company announced platform support for creating XR experiences geared for the Apple Vision Pro.
