LG Energy Solution to supply LFP pouch EV batteries to Ampere

Partnerships

  • LG Energy Solution has partnered with Ampere, a Renault Group company, to supply LFP pouch-type EV batteries.

  • Under a five-year agreement from 2025 to 2030, LG Energy Solution will provide Ampere with approximately 39 GWh of LFP batteries, enough to produce around 590,000 EVs. The batteries will be manufactured at LG's Poland facility and power Ampere's next-generation EV models.
