Lambda launches NVIDIA-based cloud clusters for AI model training

Product updates

  • Lambda, a company offering integrated LLMOps solutions, introduced 1-Click Clusters, a new service offering on-demand access to NVIDIA-based cloud clusters for AI model training.

  • Lambda's 1-Click Clusters offers developers access to NVIDIA H100 GPUs with NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking. The service provides computing for AI workloads for at least two weeks. It offers a self-serve model with no human intervention, allowing users to access and use the clusters easily.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Lambda has been focused on rapidly expanding its cloud clusters, with the news utilizing proceeds of Lambda’s USD 500 million round in April 2024 . The funds raised were earmarked to deploy thousands of NVIDIA GPUs and allow Lambda's cloud use to expand without customers being locked into long-term contracts. Additionally, the company raised USD 320 million in February 2024 to expand its offerings of NVIDIA chips, among other uses.
