Neon, a serverless Postgres database solution provider, has raised USD 25 million in strategic funding led by Microsoft's venture arm M12, with participation from Abstract Ventures, General Catalyst, Menlo Ventures, and Notable Capital.
The funding will be used for R&D, expanding into Microsoft Azure, and developing new database capabilities. Neon also plans to grow its workforce from 100 to 120 by the end of the year, with a focus on engineering roles.
