Partnerships

  • Firefly Aerospace, an American aerospace company, has signed a new multi-launch agreement with L3Harris Technologies, a global aerospace and defense technology company, for 20 launches aboard Firefly's Alpha rocket.

  • The agreement includes two to four missions per year from 2027 to 2031, with the Alpha rocket deploying the L3Harris spacecraft into low-Earth orbit from Firefly's SLC-2 launch site at the Vandenberg Space Force Base.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Firefly Aerospace first partnered with L3Harris in September 2023 to launch three missions on the Alpha rocket in 2026. The missions will carry satellites designed and built by L3Harris under a USD 225 million contract from the US Government.
