ChargeLab, a company that developed a hardware-agnostic software platform for managing EV chargers, has partnered with Rexel Energy Solutions (RES), a provider of energy-efficiency and electrification solutions, to help Canadian businesses secure Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) funding for EV charger installations.
The partnership aims to assist businesses in obtaining grants covering up to 50% of EV charger purchase and installation costs through the ZEVIP. RES will provide turnkey services, including system design and installation, while ChargeLab offers network management software and tailored reports for ZEVIP requirements.
Analyst QuickTake: ChargeLab also partnered with WallBox in July 2024 . The two companies aimed to expand Wallbox's commercial offering in North America by leveraging ChargeLab's charging station management system (CSMS) and open APIs.
