Dragonfly Aerospace, a South African producer of high-performance imaging satellites and payloads, has unveiled a range of its Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and ITAR-Free space components that have secured Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL 9).
The company's new standalone components include the Electrical Power System Low Power (EPS-LP) for spacecraft power control, the 28–300v Lithium-ion battery module, the RW-1Nms Reaction Wheel for imaging satellites, and the High-Data-Rate X-Band Transmitter (HDRTx) for low-Earth orbit (LEO) spacecraft.
Dragonfly Aerospace also launched a satellite avionics suite including the OBC-Q7S onboard computer for LEO microsatellites and the 512 GB Solid-State Mass Memory (SSMM) for LEO spacecraft.
