Rokid launches AR Joy 2 kit at IFA Berlin 2024

Product updates

  • Rokid announced the Rokid AR Joy 2 kit at IFA Berlin 2024. The kit consists of the Rokid Max 2 AR glasses and the Rokid Station, designed to provide an immersive content experience on the go.

  • Rokid claims that the AR Joy 2 kit provides up to five hours of entertainment, offers privacy features and spatial audio for an immersive experience, and includes reverse smartphone charging. The company also states that the glasses' lightweight design (75g) ensures comfort during extended use.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Rokid has been focused on pairing its Max 2 AR glasses with accessories. For example, in April 2024 , Rokid announced the AR Lite, which utilizes the Max 2 AR glasses and the Rokid Station 2 host unit. This allows for a multi-screen mode, where users can anchor multiple virtual displays (300 in) in physical space.
