Stratasys introduces Neo build processor for investment casting master patterns

Product updates

  • Stratasys, a provider of polymer 3D printing solutions, has partnered with Materialise, a provider of 3D printing software and services, to launch Stratasys' “Neo build processor” for investment casting master patterns.

  • The new solution is designed for Stratasys Neo 450 and Neo 800 stereolithography (SLA) 3D printers. It offers a range of layer thickness options, improved workflow integration, and customizable build parameters for geometry, supports, and lattices.

  • The company claims that the solution enables 75% time savings and up to 50% faster file processing.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Stratasys has consistently expanded its product portfolio despite its recent restructuring, during which the company announced that it would be laying off 15% of the workforce to generate USD 40 million in annual cost savings. This is the second product release this month, following the release of the Origin Two DLP printer and a post-processing system named "Origin Cure."
