Mojo Vision and CY Vision partner for micro-LED car heads-up displays

Partnerships
Product updates

  • Mojo Vision, a maker of tiny micro-LED screens, has partnered with CY Vision to develop next-generation car heads-up displays (HUDs). These HUDs will incorporate AR and use AI and 3D imaging to give drivers an immersive experience.

  • The HUDs will use micro-LED technology to create line-of-sight overlays that promote driver safety and provide essential information. They will offer the largest field of view, high-resolution images with 3D and AR capabilities, and up to 20x–50x more light efficiency than conventional systems.

  • The companies state that these HUDs will help keep drivers' eyes on the road, potentially reducing accidents caused by distracted driving. The micro-LED technology is also expected to be more energy-efficient and cost-effective, allowing easier integration into various car designs.

  • Analyst QuickTake : The partnership expands Mojo Vision’s microLED use cases. The company previously utilized its displays for sports with partnerships with Adidas Running, Trailforks (cycling/hiking), Wearable X (yoga), Slopes (skiing), and 18Birdies (golf). However, the expansion puts the company into direct competition with established players ( Envisics and WayRay ).
