Sandbox VR to launch Deadwood Phobia with tickets at USD 55

  • Sandbox VR, a company operating 50 VR entertainment locations, announced Deadwood Phobia, the third title in its Deadwood zombie franchise. Players can participate in teams of two to six, with tickets priced at around USD 50 each (USD 55 during peak times).

  • Deadwood Phobia is a psychological horror game set in an abandoned medical facility. Players face various zombie-like enemies, including several boss battles. The game features multiple endings and unlockable weapons and armor. The new experience will launch worldwide on October 16, 2024, with ticket sales opening on October 1, 2024.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Sandbox VR has seen widespread success, with its VR franchises selling over 1.2 million tickets in 2023, amounting to ~USD 1.9 million in average store revenue. The company seeks to capitalize on demand for its experiences with its Apparel Group partnership . This would involve launching 25 new experiences in the Middle East by 2028.
