Industry news
Product updates

  • GM is now offering adapters that allow its EV drivers to access Tesla's Supercharger network, with over 17,800 chargers becoming available to GM customers.

  • The GM-approved NACS DC adapters will be sold for USD 225 through GM vehicle brand mobile apps, initially to US and Canadian customers.

  • GM customers can also use the same apps to seamlessly locate available Tesla Superchargers, check station status, initiate a charge, and pay for charging sessions. GM also plans to use multiple suppliers to produce approved NACS DC adapters.

  • Analyst QuickTake : This addition expands GM EV drivers’ access to more than 231,800 public Level 2 and DC fast chargers in North America, in line with efforts to improve charging infrastructure and promote EV adoption. GM follows other automakers, such as Ford and Rivian, in adopting Tesla's charging network, contributing to the broader initiative to make EV charging more accessible and convenient.
