Lilium partners with Galaxy FBO and EMCJET for eVTOL operations in Houston

Partnerships

  • Lilium, a Nasdaq-listed eVTOL jet developer, has partnered with Galaxy FBO and EMCJET to introduce its Lilium Jet in Houston. The company debuted the Lilium jet for the first time in the US at the William P. Hobby Airport in Houston.

  • Galaxy FBO will provide regional connectivity for Lilium Jet operations, planning routes between Houston Hobby Airport, Galveston, Houston Spaceport, and College Station. Galaxy FBO's facilities at Houston Hobby, Conroe North Houston Regional Airport, and the Woodlands Heliport will serve as key infrastructure for Lilium Jet operators.

  • EMCJET, an aircraft brokerage and management company, has agreed to be among the first customers when Lilium Jet deliveries begin in 2026. The company aims to offer clients the opportunity to own the future of aviation with sustainable and comfortable travel options.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Lilium has recently advanced its global expansion efforts, aligning with its goals to enter service in 2026. These efforts included partnerships with UrbanLink to launch eVTOL services in South Florida, the Bao'an District to establish headquarters in China, Milan Airports and Skyports for vertiport and air taxi route developments in Italy, and with Groupe Aéroport de Paris (ADP) for infrastructure development in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Lilium also secured ~USD 55 million in state aid recently in September 2024 to secure Lilium's position in Germany, following reports that it was considering moving out of Germany.
