Impulse Space, an orbital transfer vehicle developer, has raised USD 150 million in a Series B funding round led by Founders Fund, with participation from Lux Capital, Spring Tide, and new investor DCVC. This brings the company's total funding to USD 225 million.
The funding will advance work on two orbital transfer vehicles, Mira and Helios. The company plans to develop an upgraded version of Mira for launch in late 2025. Helios was unveiled in January 2024 and is slated for its first mission in 2026.
The company recently announced a GEO rideshare program with Exolaunch and was selected by NASA for its Venture-Class Acquisition of Dedicated and Rideshare (VADR) contract.
