Serve Robotics partners with Wing to offer autonomous food delivery services in Texas

Partnerships

  • Serve Robotics, a company offering droid-based delivery services, is partnering with Wing Aviation, Alphabet's drone delivery unit, to offer an autonomous food delivery service in Texas.

  • The pilot partnership will launch in Dallas, Texas. It will combine Serve's sidewalk robots with Wing's drones to offer a multi-modal delivery solution. Serve robots will pick up food from restaurants and transfer it to Wing drones at nearby AutoLoader stations, enabling deliveries up to six miles away without requiring restaurants to modify their facilities.

  • This collaboration will expand Serve's delivery radius from two miles to cover entire cities with 30-minute autonomous delivery while helping Wing reach more merchants in dense urban areas.
