KUDO, a company providing real-time multilingual solutions, has launched a new AI engine called "KUDO AI v3.0." This update comes as the company receives its fourth US Patent for innovative speech translation methods. The new engine is expected to be released in October 2025.

KUDO AI v3.0 aims to improve translation quality and reduce latency between original speech and translation. The update also includes UX and UI enhancements, such as customizable captions with light and dark modes, adjustable size and color options, and a choice between default font and Open Dyslexic font.

The company claims that these improvements will increase the accuracy and fluency of translations and enhance user accessibility. Additionally, KUDO is extending these caption customization features to its Microsoft Teams integration, allowing users to access KUDO AI's customizable captions directly within the Teams platform.

Analyst QuickTake: Since the launch of its fully integrated AI speech translator in January 2023 , KUDO has been actively working to integrate AI into its product portfolio. To date, the acquisition of four patents in 2024 reflects its strategy to invest in R&D and enhance its product offerings.
