Print&Go acquires Astroprint for undisclosed sum

M&A

  • Print&Go, a Spanish 3D printing software company, has acquired Astroprint, a cloud-based 3D printer management platform, for an undisclosed sum.

  • Astroprint offers a free cloud-based software platform enabling users to remotely control and monitor multiple 3D printers. Astroprint's platform enables users to store 3D models in the cloud, access them remotely, and create prints wirelessly. The software provides features such as real-time print progress monitoring, multi-user management with customizable permissions, shared print queues, and advanced analytics.

  • Print&Go stated that it will preserve Astroprint in its current form while introducing new features in the coming months. These include server optimizations, bug fixes, increased support for verified 3D printers and cutting engine updates. Print&Go plans to integrate Astroprint's platform with its professional tools and AI-driven features to improve the overall user experience in 3D printing.

  • Based in Spain, Print&Go offers a 3D printing software platform for users to monitor prints remotely and obtain production analytics, such as productivity efficiency and material consumption. Its key features include 1) a cloud-based file repository for data storage and traceability, 2) a dashboard with predictive analytics tools, 3) an AI-assisted workflow optimization system that automates resource allocation, planning, and risk mitigation processes, and 4) real-time error detection with quality control and preventative alerts.
