AAC Clyde Space, a space technology company, has secured a SEK 5.8 million (~USD 0.6 million) contract to deliver its Starbuck power system and related services.
The contract, awarded by a returning customer who chose to remain anonymous, is set to be completed in the third quarter of 2025. AAC Clyde Space claimed that its Starbuck power systems have become a standard for small satellites, demonstrating the company's successful strategy in standardizing components for this satellite category.
In a separate development, AAC Clyde Space has finalized the acquisition of Spacemetric AB which was initially announced in July 2024, expanding its capabilities in Earth Observation data services. This acquisition involved issuing shares and warrants to Spacemetric's shareholders, subject to certain conditions and lock-up agreements.
