Eve Air Mobility secures USD 88 million loan to construct manufacturing facility

Funding

  • Eve Air Mobility, a Brazilian producer of eVTOL aircraft, has secured a USD 88 million loan from a Brazilian state bank for its aircraft factory.

  • The funding will be used to construct a manufacturing facility in Taubate, Brazil, for Eve Air Mobility's eVTOL aircraft.

  • Eve Air Mobility is a spinoff of Embraer, a major Brazilian aerospace company. The loan from a state bank indicates government support for Brazil's emerging eVTOL industry.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The funding comes after Eve Air Mobility secured USD 94 million in equity financing from Embraer and Nidec Incorporation in July 2024 . The company planned to use the funding raised in July to support its eVTOL aircraft development and purchase orders. Eve Air Mobility has had several partnerships during 2024 and is ramping up its efforts towards its entry into service in 2026.
