Voyage Foods, an Oakland-based food technology company, plans to expand its manufacturing operations with a new 284,000-square-foot facility in Mason, Ohio, set to open in January 2025.
The new plant, partially funded by a USD 25 million USDA-guaranteed loan, will produce cocoa-free chocolate, nut-free spreads, and bean-free coffee, with an annual capacity of 10,000 metric tons of cocoa-free chocolate.
Analyst QuickTake: Voyage Foods recently raised USD 52 million in funding to scale production. It also inked an exclusive distribution agreement with Cargill for its cocoa-free chocolate and nut-free spreads.
