Flowbird Group, an urban mobility solutions software provider, has partnered with the City of Leavenworth, Washington, to upgrade the parking system of the city. The new system includes a modernized touch screen, pay-by-plate parking kiosks, and a new digital payment option called Pay-by-Text.
The new system features solar-powered kiosks with 9.7-inch full-color touch displays, offering a user-friendly interface for parking transactions. The Pay-by-Text option allows users to pay for parking directly from their mobile phones without downloading an app. The city claims that the new system provides real-time transaction data to Flowbird's intelligent data management suite, allowing city staff to track high-use areas and plan for future events and staffing.
Flowbird Group is a France-based startup focusing on urban intelligence. The group offers its services across 80 countries in the form of parking management, EV transport solutions, and mobility service applications.
