Nano Dimension, an additive manufacturing solutions provider, unveiled its latest software and material development, Fabrica, at Formnext, an additive manufacturing expo held in Frankfurt, Germany.
The company will present its growing portfolio in additive manufacturing and micro AM, focusing on high-precision 3D printing technologies. This includes Fabrica software version 3.2.0, specifically developed for Nano Dimension's micro 3D printers. The update reportedly improves printing speed and efficiency, with up to 70% faster printing times for R&D projects and prototyping. Nano Dimension claims that the Fabrica software update will be available free of charge for existing customers.
Additionally, Nano Dimension expects to present a new DLP 3D printing resin called "Ataru," which features exceptional thermomechanical stability and dielectric properties.
Analyst QuickTake: Nano Dimensions has strengthened its portfolio of products through a series of landmark acquisitions over the last few months. In September 2024 , the company acquired Markforged, a 3D-printing solutions provider, for USD 115 million and continued investment in J.A.M.E.S , its joint venture with HENSOLDT, which focuses on advancing the development of 3D-printed electronics. Moreover, the company also acquired Desktop Metal, a provider of 3D printers and related products, in July 2024 for USD 135 million.
