Nano Dimension presents software and material innovations at Formnext 2024

Industry news

  • Nano Dimension, an additive manufacturing solutions provider, unveiled its latest software and material development, Fabrica, at Formnext, an additive manufacturing expo held in Frankfurt, Germany.

  • The company will present its growing portfolio in additive manufacturing and micro AM, focusing on high-precision 3D printing technologies. This includes Fabrica software version 3.2.0, specifically developed for Nano Dimension's micro 3D printers. The update reportedly improves printing speed and efficiency, with up to 70% faster printing times for R&D projects and prototyping. Nano Dimension claims that the Fabrica software update will be available free of charge for existing customers.

  • Additionally, Nano Dimension expects to present a new DLP 3D printing resin called "Ataru," which features exceptional thermomechanical stability and dielectric properties.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Nano Dimensions has strengthened its portfolio of products through a series of landmark acquisitions over the last few months. In September 2024 , the company acquired Markforged, a 3D-printing solutions provider, for USD 115 million and continued investment in J.A.M.E.S , its joint venture with HENSOLDT, which focuses on advancing the development of 3D-printed electronics. Moreover, the company also acquired Desktop Metal, a provider of 3D printers and related products, in July 2024 for USD 135 million.
