Zoom has partnered with AI medical scribe provider Suki to offer AI-powered note-taking for doctors during telehealth consultations.
The partnership aims to save doctors' time on administrative tasks by providing an AI scribe that can take notes during patient consultations. Zoom, which is used for about 36% of all telehealth visits in the US, selected Suki after considering other AI medical scribe startups.
Analyst QuickTake: The partnership reflects rising interest in AI-powered medical assistants, as companies like Amazon' s One Medical also use AI tools to reduce clinicians' documentation time. The AI medical scribe market is growing more competitive, with both startups and established companies entering the space.
