Product updates

  • Zoom has partnered with AI medical scribe provider Suki to offer AI-powered note-taking for doctors during telehealth consultations.

  • The partnership aims to save doctors' time on administrative tasks by providing an AI scribe that can take notes during patient consultations. Zoom, which is used for about 36% of all telehealth visits in the US, selected Suki after considering other AI medical scribe startups.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The partnership reflects rising interest in AI-powered medical assistants, as companies like Amazon' s One Medical also use AI tools to reduce clinicians' documentation time. The AI medical scribe market is growing more competitive, with both startups and established companies entering the space.
