Ulendo Technologies, a 3D printing software company, has partnered with Rev1 Technologies, CreatBot's exclusive US after-sales support provider, to offer a new software upgrade that enhances the performance of industrial 3D printers.
The partnership will combine Ulendo's vibration compensation algorithm with the CreatBot F430 3D printer to allow users to increase printing speed by up to 5x without compromising quality. The upgrade will be available for both new and existing F430 printers, with plans to extend the software to other CreatBot large-size and high-temperature printers later this year.
Ulendo is a University of Michigan spin-off company founded in 2018 that specializes in advanced software solutions for manufacturing automation, particularly in the field of 3D printing. The company's flagship product is Ulendo FBS (Filtered B Splines), a vibration compensation software that enables 3D printers to operate at higher speeds without sacrificing print quality and installing hardware modifications. Ulendo FBS works by intercepting and modifying GCODE instructions to compensate for real-world vibrations in 3D printers with moving mechanical printheads.
