Vesta Healthcare, a virtual care provider, and Medical Guardian, a medical alert device company, have partnered to enhance chronic care management and remote patient monitoring for Medicaid and Medicare members.
The partnership integrates Medical Guardian's cellular-connected vitals monitoring devices and personal emergency response systems with Vesta Healthcare's 24/7 clinical oversight. The combined solution captures vital health data like blood pressure, weight, oxygen levels, and fall detection, with automatic data transmission to Vesta's clinical team without requiring apps or manual input.
The collaboration aims to improve member wellbeing and reduce hospitalizations through enhanced member engagement, integrated monitoring, and real-time support. The solution strengthens coordination between healthcare providers, caregivers, and patients for more informed care decisions.
Analyst QuickTake: Earlier this year, Vesta Healthcare raised a total of USD 100 million across two rounds of funding in September, first raising USD 35 million and then USD 65 million . In the latter funding round, the company noted that the raised funds would be used to expand operations and development efforts. Through the partnership with Medical Guardian, the company appears to be incorporating other technologies into its platform, helping extend its capabilities.
