Carbon launches EPU Pro platform for 3D printing

Product updates

  • Carbon, a 3D printing technology company, has launched the EPU Pro platform, a single-part, dual-cure elastomer resin for additive manufacturing. This new platform joins Carbon's existing portfolio of elastomeric materials, including EPU 45 and EPU 46.

  • EPU Pro offers a range of stiffness options with durometers from 50A to 90A. It incorporates foaming agents for suede-like textures and features enhanced printability for complex geometries. The platform also integrates with Carbon's Design Engine and Custom Production Software for creating multi-zonal lattices and mass customization.

  • The company claims EPU Pro simplifies the manufacturing process through its single-container design, reduces material waste, and enables sustainable practices through solvent-free cleaning and the ability to reprocess cured parts.
