Lightricks releases open-source AI video model LTX Video 0.9

Product updates

  • Lightricks, the developer behind apps like LTX Studio, Facetune, and Videoleap, has launched LTX Video 0.9, an open-source AI video model. The model is available through the ComfyUI, Hugging Face, and FAL.ai platforms.

  • LTX Video offers image-to-video and text-to-video capabilities and supports multiple video lengths and resolutions. The model can generate five-second videos in four seconds when using NVIDIA H100 GPUs at 768 x 512 resolution and can also run on standard NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPUs at a slower speed.

  • According to Lightricks, the model provides consistent motion and structure through its diffusion transformer architecture, reducing morphing between frames and enabling smoother transitions. The model's open-source nature allows developers to extend and build upon its basic capabilities.
