Mmhmm, a presentation tool for virtual meetings, has raised USD 100 million in a Series B round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. The round also included the participation of Sequoia Capital, Mubadala Capital, and World Innovation Lab.
The round comes a year after launching in private beta and brings total funding to USD 140 million. The fresh funds will be allocated toward product development, including the launch of its mobile apps, and infrastructure development. The company also plans to boost hiring and expects to have over 100 employees by the end of the year.
Founded in 2020, mmhmm is a developer of a video application that allows users to share presentations, web browsers, and videos while the speaker remains on-screen for a more interactive video conferencing experience. The platform is currently available on MacOS and Windows and integrates with video conferencing tools from Zoom, Cisco Webex, Google, and Microsoft.
