Ready Burger secures GBP 2 million through crowdfunding effort

Funding

  • Ready Burger, a plant-based UK fast-food chain, has secured GBP 2 million (USD 2.7 million) through a Crowdcube campaign launched in June 2021. The campaign was able to reach its initial target of GBP 1.5 million (USD 2 million) in a number of hours.

  • The Startup plans to use the funds to open in new locations in London and other cities. Ready Burger is planning to open its second location on Finchley Road in September 2021, with two more locations in the pipeline.

  • Ready Burger plans to scale its business nationally and eventually internationally at prices competitive to global fast-food brands McDonald’s and Burger King. The startup is also open to franchising as part of its future growth strategy.
