The mobile-based esports gaming platform AviaGames has raised USD 40 million in a Series B funding round. The round included the participation of ACME Capital, Washington Harbour Partners, Powerhouse Capital, and Makers Fund. Following the investment, Hany Nada (co-founder, ACME Capital) has joined AviaGames’ board.
The round follows its USD 8 million Series A round in May 2020 and brings the company’s total funding to USD 48 million. The fresh funds will be funneled toward expanding its team and international presence, accelerating player acquisition, and developing new games on the platform. Currently, AviaGames has more than 90 employees and expects to reach 130 by the end of 2021.
