ESE signs letter of intent to acquire Frenzy

M&A

  • Esports infrastructure organization ESE Entertainment (ESE) signed a letter of intent to acquire European esports media and production infrastructure company Frenzy.

  • Frenzy produces and broadcasts esports and gaming events and reality shows worldwide. The company’s majority owner and founder Piotr Zak is a member of the supervisory board of media conglomerate Cyfrowy Polsat S.A., one of the largest digital platforms in Europe and the largest in Central and Eastern Europe.

  • Under the terms of the deal, Frenzy’s key personnel, including Piotr Zak, will lead its operations. ESE will acquire 100% of Frenzy, paying 50% of the purchase price in cash and the remainder in ESE stock over two years post-acquisition, given the achievement of certain revenue milestones. The acquisition will grant ESE access to Polsat’s infrastructure and improve its production and broadcasting capabilities across all verticals.
