Matik raises USD 20 million in Series A funding

Funding

  • Presentation software platform Matik raised USD 20 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Menlo Ventures, BoxGroup, and Oceans Ventures. Angel investors including Keenan Rice (co-founder, Looker), Allison Pickens (former COO, Gainsight), and Jon Herstein (CCO, Box) also participated in the round. As part of the investment, Kristina Shen (general partner, Andreessen Horowitz) will join Matik’s board of directors.

  • The fresh funds will be funneled toward product development and the expansion of its offering to teams outside sales and go-to-market. Some funds will also be diverted into talent acquisition, with plans to increase headcount to 20 by the end of the year.
