NFT marketplaces OpenSea, Rarible, and SuperRare partner with Adobe

Partnerships

  • NFT marketplaces OpenSea, Rarible, and SuperRare have partnered with software company Adobe to let users create an image as an NFT in Photoshop, which will display content credentials. These images can be displayed on the NFT marketplaces for each asset.

  • Adobe’s Content Credentials will allow viewers to see attribution for the NFT creator and who minted it. Adobe stated it will use an open-source method of cryptographically signing the image with the creator's identity and allow identification of artwork based on the creator’s wallet address. Creators can also link their social media to the image.

  • The companies expect this extra feature to increase transparency and evidence of authenticity for creators, collectors, and buyers.
