Hyper Food Robotics launches its first automated robotic pizza restaurant

Product updates

 • Hyper Food Robotics, an Israeli developer of automated robotic restaurants, has launched its first automated restaurant concept—a containerized robotic pizza restaurant.

 • The unit can prepare 50 pies per hour and is equipped with three convection ovens, a conveyor belt system, an automatic slicer, and a boxing system. It also has 30 pizza warming cabinets, built-in cold storage that can hold up to 240 varieties of dough, two robotic dispensing arms, and dispensers for up to 12 toppings.

Analyst QuickTake: Hyper Food Robotics now joins a handful of pizza-making robot developers in the industry, including Picnic, Pazzi, xRobotics, and Piestro. However, Picnic is the only company offering a pizza-making robot that can be configured to assemble other food including sandwiches, salad bowls, tacos, and burritos. Its unit was opened for pre-orders in August this year. Hyper Food Robotics too might follow the same approach or develop new robotic solutions for other food preparation.
